Develop and drive sales initiatives

As Area Sales Manager in our subsidiary company in Saudi Arabia, you will have both sales and budget responsibility for a significant region. As one of the largest companies in this market, Arla Foods has 600 employees – 19 different nationalities and 7 Danes in management positions. With reference to the National Sales Manager, you manage a sales force of 60-80 people.

Your primary objective will be to improve the sales performance of the region. Together with your sales and marketing colleagues, you determine the necessary focus areas for the continuous development of our business. In this connection, you are responsible for developing new customers and nurturing existing customer relations, e.g. by drawing up cooperation agreements and ensuring special promotions are developed and implemented.

You regularly evaluate customer sales potential, business development and financial position. In this connection, you follow up on budgets and prepare periodical progress reports, just as you daily review collections and credit orders.

You will also be responsible for optimising and coaching your sales team. You brief your staff on activities, conduct performance reviews, agree salary with employees and check up on targets and commission.

Significant sales experience

Your previous career has given you significant sales experience, preferably within FMCG products. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enables you to motivate your staff and to co-operate across cultures with people from various backgrounds. On a personal level, you are goal oriented and thrive in a dynamic and international work environment.
