The Global Construction department is part of our Global Projects and Logistics department and is e.g. responsible for supplying site staff to our international installation projects. Our target is to create transparency in all costs related to our scope.
Work Assignments
As a Commercial Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial side of the manning planning for installation projects. You will work closely together with the Construction Project Manager and the resource coordinators and be the interface to the Tax and Legal departments, the commercial project managers and our regional hubs and companies.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:
- Performing cost planning and controlling of individual projects
- Performing commercial alignment with regional hubs and regional companies within Siemens
- Clarifying business set-up of individual projects
- Clarifying tax risks of individual projects
- Serving as single point of contact to our internal customers and commercial project managers
- Being responsible for the commercial part of our subcontracts for the hiring in of external installation crew
Your Profile
You have a degree in business administration or a similar education. Preferably, you have controlling experience from a similar position, and you are an experienced user of IT systems, especially Excel. SAP experience would be an advantage. As a person, you are structured, result-oriented and a dedicated team player. You are fluent in English both orally and in writing.
