You will research, prepare and execute a wide variety of information mainly for the external public and be part of Corporate Communication which is a young and fast developing communication department that is responsible for the internal and external communication at ECCO.As Communications Specialist you will support the Head of Corporate Communication in creating and executing an external communications centre of excellence.
One of your main tasks will be to edit ECCO’s new corporate web site, where you will create content, develop and be updating the site regularly. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining corporate press kits, deliver articles for the annual report, write press releases and other external communication materials. In addition to this you will also edit and write articles for the ECCO intranet.
Your contributions will help strengthen ECCO’s external brand and help ECCO get closer to its vision of becoming The Best Shoe Company in the World.
The ideal candidate qualifies by the following:
- A background in journalism or communication
- Skilled writer who can deliver fast when needed
- Superb English skills, preferably a native speaker
- Structured and good work ethic and follow-up skills
- A team player who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a small and dedicated team
- Ability and willingness to multitask and manage short-term and long-term deadlines
- Straight forward with a good sense of humour.
