The artists focus on existential, visual and philosophical aspects on our relationship to cosmos: The visually magnificent, the scary proportions, light and dark, chaos and order and much more. Visitors will be seeing videos on widescreens, installation, photography, holography, and other expressions of contemporary art.
At a location of magnificent natural beauty by the Ørnsø lake surrounded by protected forest, the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad is located. The Art Centre has been established in the old spa facility that has undergone meticulous renovation. It is an excursion site at which art, nature, and history each form their part of a complete experience.

Brief Historical Summary – Silkeborg Spa
It was the founder of Silkeborg, paper manufacturer Michael Drewsen, who first saw the possibility of establishing a water spa facility on this location – a spa facility that continued to attract the Danish population as spa guests and allow them to regain their strength for their daily tasks through the health springs and recreational environment.
From the slope towards the Ørnsø lake, the Arnakkekilderne springs flow with 3/4 million litres of mineral water daily. The Carlsberg breweries bottle water for their mineral water products here. The highly ferrous water can be drunk directly from the spring.
