By joining the Danfoss Postgraduate Programme – Finance, you will play an important part in ensuring that Danfoss’ financial performance is second to none. This includes among many things full compliance with best-practise methods and the ability to think ahead, and consider new approaches that can strengthen Danfoss’ position in our markets.
The Danfoss Postgraduate Programme and you
Your personal Postgraduate Programme will take you on a journey to five different destinations with local assignments and projects, each of which provide detailed insight into international finance combined with hands-on experiences.
Four of the assignments have already been planned. The fifth we leave up to your personal choice, and you are welcome to gain experience from a critical business challenge outside the financial field.
One of your first stops in the programme will be at Danfoss’ headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark, where you will learn the basics about Danfoss, how we report and what enables us to make the right decisions.
Later, you will spend time at one of our local financial organisations in one of the many countries we are currently active in. You will also join the financial team in one of our business units or factories in Danfoss’ core businesses and gain strategic and tactical experience at one of our three divisions’ central financial offices in Denmark.
Do you have what it takes
One of our main goals with the Postgraduate Programme is to attract and develop ambitious and talented candidates, who are both able and willing to combine their strengths within finance with a business oriented approach to their daily tasks. Ideally, you have
- a master’s degree within finance or business economics
- excellent business understanding and communication skills
- an analytical and fact-based approach to dealing with complexity
- drive and are open to change
A possible career path after the programme could be within business controlling, and possibly a position as finance manager after additional 2-3 years. Or it could be something else finance related. In any case the future is in your hands and from now on your career will reflect you and which ambitions you seek to fulfil.
