Multi-millionaire Lars Dalgaard and his SuccessFactors company have reportedly paid 40.5 million dollars, equivalent to around 200 million DKK, for Australian IT company Inform Business Impact (former InfoHRM).
SuccessFactors develops internet based on-demand solutions to develop managers and employees, so-called Business Execution Software. The plan is to combine the product series with Inform Business Impact’s workforce planning and analysis software, which is also available on-demand.
The acquisition will allow the company to add a few more Fortune 500 companies, like Nike and Starbucks, to its already impressive portfolio.
Dalgaard, who is the CEO of SuccessFactors, founded the Nasdaq-listed company in 2001 in San Mateo, California. Besides its economic success, the company has continually been rated as one of the US’ ‘Best Places to Work’.
