The company has ongoing projects in the Azores, Mauritius, Cyprus, Kenya and Malta, to name but a few. For a number of years we have successfully developed IPP projects and the main task of the Director of Project Development will be to further develop this business segment.
The candidate should have a B.Sc. or higher, preferably a degree in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering combined with a relevant business-oriented degree or demonstrable commercial experience.
It is a further requirement that the candidate has extensive experience and a proven track record in the development of successful IPP projects up to and beyond financial close.
In addition, the ideal candidate is:
- An experienced salesman with a high energy level and personal drive who relishes a challenge.
- A committed person capable of working in international teams – often to tight deadlines with project stakeholders and using complex contract structures.
- Able to see and drive business opportunities and solutions and generate excellent results together with the project stakeholders.
It is an advantage if the candidate has experience from EPC and/or O&M contracts of process/power plants.
The candidate is expected to have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Further competency in French and/or Spanish would be an advantage.
As a company with a global presence, the successful candidate must be willing to travel abroad as required by the needs of the projects. Relocation to Denmark is a job prerequisite.
