Now you can take a virtual walk in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense. It’s the map service map.krak.dk who as the first in Denmark provide the street photo – or street view – of the three largest cities. This new service allows users of Krak.dk to see how a street in Copenhagen, Aarhus or Odense looks, Krak.dk announces in a press release.

It is Eniro Denmark, which in 2007 bought Krak, who introduces the new street view, which will also be available on Eniro.dk.

Eniro hired the company C3 Technolgies to photograph 1,700 of street kilometers in late summer of 2009. In total 2.7 million high quality pictures have been taken which make up the new street view.

“We are very excited to offer this new service to Danes at Krak.dk. We are already the leading provider of route planning, maps, aerial and oblique photos online, and street photos are a very obvious next step for us in our efforts to provide modern solutions for the Danes,” says Claus Thor Nielsen, Product and Marketing Manager at Eniro Denmark A / S.

You can explore the streets of Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense on kort.eniro.dk. Click the menu option ‘Gadefoto’ (street photo), where you can select one of the three cities. The Danish street photo is part of a Nordic solution, as the street view is now also available on Eniro Group’s other Nordic platforms in Sweden and Finland.
