The Job
SimCorp’s Nordic Market Unit consists of 85 highly skilled and motivated consultants located in Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Our main responsibility is implementation of SimCorp’s IMS system SimCorp Dimension. We have an impressive track record for delivering the agreed solution to the customer and we intend to maintain this track record.
As a specialist within fund administration or accounting you will be part of a smaller specialist team in the Nordic Market Unit, the Nordic Fund Administration Group. This group is responsible for delivering all fund accounting related services in connection with implementation projects at our customers.
You will be part of a project team, whose main goal is to ensure that the contracted solutions are delivered to the customer on time in the right quality. As a specialist, we expect you to be able to take a significant role in the design phase, shaping the solution for the specific customer in terms of the accounting and fund administration setup. Besides participating in the design, configuration and implementation you will also assist in educating the customer’s staff.
In the role as Senior Business Consultant, superior communication is essential. We expect you to communicate with customers and colleagues clearly, precisely and on time. Furthermore, we expect you to be able to work with complex and abstract issues.
As the Fund Administration Group is a Nordic group, you will be required to travel within this area, but also to other market units for longer or shorter periods of time.
The consultant we are seeking, are to be located in the Copenhagen office. However if necessary it can be arranged to work out of Oslo or Stockholm.
Your qualifications
We are looking for colleagues, who can bring further development to the department as an fund administration or accounting specialist. In order to do so, we expect that:
- You have a profound fund administration and/or accounting knowledge and experience;
- You have knowledge of various financial securities and instruments, i.e. pricing, administrative issues, etc.;
- You have solid financial knowledge gained through experience in the financial sector;
- Preferably you have knowledge about SimCorp Dimension either from a customer or from consultancy work;
- You are “service minded” in your approach and eager to deliver the quality in the solutions which are requested;
- You take initiatives – starting and completing projects with success;
- You are good at communicating and capable of establishing good relations in the customer’s organisation as well as in SimCorp.
