The department
SimCorp’s Business Deployment department is responsible for the implementation standards for our state-of-the-art product, SimCorp Dimension, and thus plays a central role in developing and improving best practice implementation solutions.
The Business Deployment group consists of 9 highly skilled and motivated employees who are divided into three meta-domain teams: Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office.
SimCorp is in the constant process of defining implementation and operational best practices for SimCorp Dimension to establish economies of scale effects across the organisation. It is the mission of the group to collect, consolidate and deploy these to SimCorp’s Market Division.
The job
Your responsibility will be to manage existing functionality in SimCorp Dimension, which includes:
- being the corporate owner of best practices from accumulation over consolidation to market division deployment;
- becoming the primary sparring partner for market consultants on implementation as well as operational issues;
- providing corporate anchoring for professional services, from identification over development to deployment;
- ensuring certification-based corporate competence development through training of both our internal and external clients.
The primary objective is to improve efficiency and quality across implementation activities in the market.
Your qualifications
As an ideal candidate, you:
- have a proven track record in the use, implementation or support of SimCorp Dimension or a similar system in the financial industry;
- are a self-contained high performer, who is determined and has excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken);
- have a technical understanding of IT, combined with sound financial knowledge, within areas like risk management, performance measurement, trading or portfolio management.
