How to exert Leadership and find Joy at Work

If you cannot find motivation on the job, it may be worth listening to professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter, who gives advice in the Harvard Business Review on how to find joy at work – even in tough times.

According to the professor, US Gallup Healthways have discovered that business owners are more content that everybody else, and she points out that it’s less stressful when you feel co-determined and define personal purpose in your work.

If you want a higher job satisfaction, you should initiate a new project which is beneficial to your job, industry, or workplace. Even if you’re not an entrepreneur or a business owner, there are ways to “set an agenda” and achieve valuable knowledge”, says Moss Kanter.
