H. C. Andersen is a well known Danish writer. His fairy tales are known by children and adults all over the world. Hear about famous fairy tales and a writer everybody ought to know, as lectured by assistant professor Dan Ringgard, Aarhus University.

Some of the most popular fairy tales are ‘The uckly duckling’, ‘The little mermaid’, ‘The red shoes’, ‘The little Match-seller’ among more.

About the International Lectures

Folkeuniversitetet in Århus welcomes everyone with an interest in knowledge conveyed through the English language. Lectures by Aarhus University researchers in English. Everybody is welcome – either you are an ‘International’ or a Dane.

Time: The lectures take place from 8:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Tea/coffee and cake are served to everyone attending the lecture from 8:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
